All charts, one screen

Pick one person and every single-person technique is calculated at once, side by side.

Every astrological question has its own technique. This page calculates eight single-person techniques at once — and below you'll find a short guide to which chart answers which question.

Which chart for which question?

"Who am I, what are my strengths and weaknesses?" belongs to the natal chart. "What's happening right now?" is answered by transits. "How will this age year go?" calls for the solar return and annual profection; "what will this month feel like?" for the lunar return.

"How am I changing inwardly?" is the domain of progressions; "when are the big turning points?" belongs to solar arc. "What does my soul want?" goes to the draconic chart, and "where should I live?" to astrocartography.

Three techniques for relationship questions

Synastry compares two charts and shows the balance of attraction and friction. A composite builds the relationship's own character from midpoints. A Davison is a real chart cast for the time-space midpoint of two births, so transits can be applied to it.

How the techniques work together

A professional reading stacks layers: the natal chart is the ground, profection gives the year's subject, the solar return the year's chart, and transits plus solar arc the timing. When the same theme repeats across techniques, the signal is strong.

Frequently asked questions

Where should a beginner start?

With the natal chart — every other technique is built on top of it.

Can I calculate all charts at once?

Yes. Enter your birth details once and this page calculates eight single-person techniques simultaneously.

Which technique times an event best?

Transits combined with solar arc directions give the clearest timing at both the year and month level.
